The fact that Eastern games have their own store(DLsite), and eastern devs have to sell their games finished makes that happen a lot less on the other side of the world, even if they have patreons.

A friend remarked that the ambitious eroge are the ones that never get finished. So if you want creativity, the price is a game without an ending.
