But that's a UI problem, I'll still defend it as more objective than the 1v1s because you get the final say no matter what. The problem with 1v1s is that even with 1000 choices the tool is still giving you a random subset of the ~20,000 total matchups, and the early rounds are given more weight in this because of how it sorts up or down. If your theoretical third favorite girl comes up against #1 and #2 in those rounds she usually ends up in more like #16 because the tiebreakers can only do so much. It's not likely to be that bad, but the birthday paradox means you're pretty likely to get notable skew, so that while your top 5 might be constant, even your top 20 would differ if you ran it twice. If you don't care about most girls, you also waste maybe 800 of those clicks unless you filter at the start, and if you keep them in for completeness it's probably not great for objectivity in the middle of the pack. Like for me personally, I would not object to a catgirl waifu of most sorts, but Jinko vs. Ocelomeh is so similar that my vote might go either way depending on what else I'm doing, or just non-canon stuff like having seen a nice Jinko greentext more recently. Though I admit even the statistics come out much better if you filter aggressively at the start.

From that point on, every time the Yeti gets matched up again, the real question the sorter is asking you is "Do you like this other girl more than both Yeti and March Hare?".
