○Daughters birthed by the bug mamono lord “Abaddon Queen”
who are said to have nearly devoured the world in antiquity by weaponizing their limitless appetite
and fertility. For the longest time, it was believed that they had been wiped out by the heroes of that era; however, when the earth split open as the sound of “trumpets of demise” rang out, from it emerged countless Abaddons, so it’s been established that in actuality, it’s not that they had completely died out, but that they had been sealed deep underground in a dormant state.
They have an imposing presence, with large, powerful frames, and when they take flight,
the sound of their wings is enough to shake the heavens. Their superior flight capabilities incongruent with their physique allow them to instantly swoop down on their prey and capture them by embracing them in their two pairs of shell covered arms. It seems they used to have to constantly consume prey to maintain their enormous bodies, and perhaps as a vestige of that, human men who end up as their prey will be violated with an abnormal degree of hunger and reproductive desire. Abaddons are monsters that form swarms. What’s more, each Abaddon is accompanied by countless “soldier bugs”. They say these swarms can sometimes become immense enough to cover the whole sky. Their bodies constantly give off overflowing pheromones which not only act as a powerful stimulant for male reproductive instincts, but are also used to command their swarms. Additionally, they also invigorate soldier bugs, altering their bodies and minds into a state specialized for reproduction. A swarm commanded via pheromones becomes practically like one gigantic, writhing mass in the sky that will descend upon towns and villages in pursuit of large numbers of their prey, human men, at which point all they do is repeatedly engage in feeding and reproductive activity. Depending on the enormity of the swarm, not only towns and villages, but even entire medium sized countries could be easily devoured. In the lands attacked by them, it is said not a single unmarried man remains. Currently, the only reason they haven’t completely devoured the world is that each and every one of them is devoted to only feeding on one man for life since they too are monsters.
Because of how they look and the way they firmly seize their prey and lay into them with everything they have during intercourse, it tends to be thought that they are ferocious and aggressive in temperament, but as a matter of fact, they don’t act aggressively towards their prey or behave in an overbearing manner. On the contrary, they are very quiet and somehow give off a spacey vibe. What fundamentally drives them is the endless appetite rooted in their instinct, and passion and reproductive desire, which became linked and fused with it when they assumed their current form.
For that reason, they’re always horny, and they certainly are aggressively passionate to the point
that they’ll immediately breed with their husband if he’s in front of them, but that passion and
reproductive desire doesn’t heat up or cool down from time to time according to emotions.
It is not a thing of that nature. The Abaddons used to have an ecology that required
them to “keep consuming prey” to survive… And even now, they have the same kind of ecology…
in other words, their mode of life is to “keep preying” on their husbands, and to make that possible,
they are innately endowed with “a reproductive drive that’s constantly maintained at a high level
and never settles down”. In other words, rapacious breeding is as normal for them
as breathing is for us, and to them, it’s a natural desire and natural behavior in a “normal state of mind”
while not especially aroused or hungry. For that reason, despite the intensity of the sex, they aren’t ferocious in temperament, and when they look at their husband with narrowed eyes as they hold him in their arms, on the contrary, one can even sense something gentle. Furthermore, due to their peculiar mental structure, satisfaction and temporary relief of the urge to reproduce following sex…
is of course not something that happens.
Abaddon Folk
・Abaddon Family ・Bug Type
○habitat… wastelands
○disposition… serious, devoted, poor at expressing emotions
○diet… omnivorous, eats anything.
○The soldier class of the Abaddon race which make up the majority of the monsters in any swarm led by Abaddons. They are also called “soldier bugs”. They descend upon towns and villages along with Abaddons in pursuit of large numbers of human men which are their prey. The way vast numbers of soldier bugs fill up the sky, in the former era, it was treated as a dire calamity that could very well destroy the world. They’re able to read instructions and detailed plans from the pheromones employed by Abaddons. Due to this, the swarm can fly in perfect synchronization, and they can coordinate with their comrades in the field even without needing any other sort of language to communicate. Their bodies are much more petite than those of Abaddons, but even just one of them can easily pin down a man with their two pairs of arms, and since they attack in a well organized fashion, their prey doesn’t stand a chance.
They are extremely loyal to the will of the Bug Mamono Lord “Abaddon Queen”, who is at the pinnacle of their race, to the wills of their commanders, the Abaddons, and to the collective will of the swarm as well. Given how they carry out whatever tasks are given to them as members of the swarm in an indifferent manner, they seem to be somehow lacking emotion, and it can even feel as if they have only a weak sense of self too. It is believed that Abaddon swarms are compelled by the will of the Bug Mamono Lord “Abaddon Queen” to “fill the world with their offspring”, and as the vanguard, just like Abaddons, an endless appetite is part of their “ecology” too. In other words, they are endowed with great passion and a powerful urge to reproduce. Essentially, the most important role for them to perform as members of the swarm is to lust insatiably for the husband they’ve obtained and single-mindedly engage in repeated breeding.
Also, there’s something else which guides their behavior besides the will of the swarm and the will of their race. They excel at reading pheromones, and it turns out, they can even read pheromones coming from human men in minute detail. When they sense increasing lust and the urge to breed in their husband in this way, they will attempt to breed with him in response almost as if to obey his pheromones which seem to have an extremely powerful influence in determining their behavior that often even takes precedence over the will of their race and swarm. Furthermore, Abaddons tend to prefer a life of indulging in nothing but reproductive activity, but on the other hand, perhaps because of the devoted nature of their kind or because multiple individuals may sometimes assault a single man and share him, they tend to prefer a life interwoven with non-reproductive sexual activities using the hands, mouth, and so forth as well. As if to refuse to allow their husband to be in a state of excessive lust, as soon as they sense it through pheromones, they’ll use their hands and mouth to quickly take care of him. While it’s an act of devotion, it also comes off as if they’re controlling and managing the lust and ejaculations of their prey. They treat it the same way the Abaddon family generally treats breeding, so of course, it’s something they do while in a normal state of mind. Even when in the middle of a conversation with their husband, if they sense any sexual desire, they’ll crawl their hands towards his penis in a nonchalant manner. They often service their husband even while engaged in businesslike conversations.
Additionally, these soldier bugs can also release pheromones from their bodies
which have a much smaller area of effect and can at most be used to exchange information with
other nearby individuals, but their potency when used on men to stimulate their reproductive instincts is is no different than an Abaddon’s. When they sense from their husband’s pheromones that “he is not in a state of sexual arousal”, they will quickly shower him in pheromones to stimulate his reproductive instinct to try and constantly maintain him in a state where he can breed with them. They certainly are loyal to the will of the swarm, as well as to their husband’s desires, but when it comes down to it,
what they’re most loyal to is their own passion. That, for sure, is probably their own ego
which determines their thoughts and behaviors as individuals.
【Abaddon Queen, the Bug Mamono Lord】
One of the “mamono lords” who left her name in the long history of the former era when monsters were monstrous in form. “Abaddons” were gigantic locust monsters that used to endlessly be born from the Bug Mamono Lord. They say that during her reign, swarms of Abaddons covered the sky and nearly devoured the entire world, including plants, animals, and humans. It is believed that the monsters of antiquity had a lesser sense of self and less emotions compared to the monsters of the present, but it’s even more so in the case of the Bug Mamono Lord and her kin. They appeared to have no sense of self or emotions whatsoever, and their only goal was to continue to devour and reproduce according to the instincts of their race. In doing so, they brought calamity to the world.
It has been told that the heroes back then had exterminated the entire race, but in recent years,
“Abaddons” have been overflowing from deep underground as the sound of “trumpets of demise” ring out, so it’s been discovered that they didn’t actually go completely extinct. Instead, they had been sealed deep within the earth in a dormant state. Her kin, “Abaddon” and “Abaddon Folks” have been confirmed sighted, but the “Abaddon Queen” herself has yet to be seen. Even as of the present, it is uncertain whether or not she still exists. However, even in the present, Abaddons still emerge from the great rifts leading to the depths of the earth, and it seems that the Abaddons themselves have recognized the existence of their own queen and mother, the Bug Mamono Lord, so there are whispers that she too has revived in the form of a beautiful woman and is still dedicated to continuous breeding even now in the depths of the earth.
In antiquity, when an Abaddon swarm passed through a land, it was transformed into a barren wasteland. It is said that many fertile lands have been stripped bare by Abaddons.
A significant number of them later recovered due to the effects of things such as conversion into a mamono realm, or the invigoration of spirits, yet even in the present, there still remain many
wastelands that are said to have been stripped bare by Abaddons. In this manner, the Abaddon swarms of antiquity specifically targeted fertile lands for attack, but the strange thing is that the current Abaddon swarms prefer to attack desolate lands believed to have once been stripped bare by them.
Every one of the men in a land attacked by an Abaddon swarm will be devoured and end up as their husbands, and it seems Abaddon Queen considers not just those who became husbands of Abaddons, but also all of the local inhabitants including other monsters to have come under her rule.
After attacking, Abaddons are given the task of maintaining and expanding these huge communities.
On this occasion, there’s a system of command via pheromones which enables even the
lowest soldier bug of the Abaddon family to act according to a singular, unified will, and even if the land is desolate with little food, as long as they feed on their husbands, it is possible to remain active. These two advantages are exploited to the fullest. Upon the ruins of a devoured camp, a village will arise, upon the ruins of a devoured village, a city will arise, and upon the ruins of a devoured city, a nation will arise… In such a manner, huge communities will be formed.
Furthermore, in the era of the Bug Mamono Lord, other bug monsters besides the “Abaddons”
also boasted significant forces, and they say that another mighty bug monster calling itself “lord” had appeared in a mamono realm.
